Intake calls answered, care left to clinicians
Dograh is the self-hostable voice agent platform with an open-source workflow builder. Take intake questions, insurance basics and first-session booking on a line you host yourself. Every crisis call hears the 988 Lifeline number and reaches a person.
Logistics on the phone, care in the session
Intake questions and a booked session
HTTP API toolthe agent reads open slots mid-call
The agent asks your short intake list, takes the insurance plan and books a first session from your live calendar.
→ Leave clinical history to the first session
Fixed words, never improvised
Transition Speechfixed text or a recorded clip
Self-harm or overdose language stops the intake. The agent plays your exact wording with 988 and 911.
→ Test every crisis phrase on a real phone line
A person on the line
Transfer Callrings your staff line, Twilio only
The agent writes a crisis flag and the callback number first, then transfers to staff or the on-call clinician.
→ Point after-hours transfers at the on-call clinician
Reads from, writes to, runs on
Returning clients confirm a date of birth and one reference first
Webhook node, retried automatically on a temporary failure
Call transfer to a person runs on Twilio only
The most sensitive records stay with your practice
Recordings next to your records
Self-host Dograh and recordings and transcripts sit on your servers. Audio stays inside your infrastructure only when the models run there too.
Verify before naming anything
Even confirming someone is a client discloses health information, so the agent names nothing until the caller is verified.
An automated assistant, said up front
The greeting says so on every call, and the agent never offers emotional support or tries to read the caller's mood.
No per-minute platform fee
Self-host the BSD-2 code and pay only for servers, phone minutes and the model keys you choose. Dograh Cloud has a 1¢-a-minute platform fee.

Every patient call, one deep dive each
Does the agent offer emotional support?+×
No. It handles intake logistics only: questions, insurance basics and booking. Anything that sounds like care goes to a person.
What happens if a caller mentions self-harm?+×
The agent stops the intake, plays your fixed wording giving 988 and 911, and transfers the call to your staff or on-call line.
What if nobody answers the transfer?+×
After the timeout, 30 seconds by default, the caller stays with the agent, which writes an urgent callback request to your system.
Do we need a BAA with Dograh?+×
Not when you self-host. Model providers you use by API key need their own BAA, and the phone carrier may, depending on what it stores.
Does call audio stay on our servers?+×
Only when you self-host Dograh and run the speech and language models on your servers too. With hosted model keys, the audio reaches the provider.
Put your intake line on a test number first.
