Account calls answered on servers you run
Dograh is the self-hostable voice agent platform with an open-source workflow builder. Billing and fault calls read and write your BSS and OSS during the call, and call detail goes out only by callback to the number of record.
Three calls that end inside the account
Answer the bill from the BSS
Pre-Call Data Fetchloads the account as the call connects
Once the caller is verified, the agent states the balance and due date exactly as your billing system returns them.
→ Your own system sends the payment link
Check the outage before the router
HTTP API toolthe agent asks your systems mid-call
A customer in a known outage hears it in the first sentence. Otherwise the agent runs a line test before any troubleshooting.
→ Add router model names to the Dictionary
Confirm the engineer visit a day ahead
API Triggeryour OSS starts the call
The customer can still move the visit, picking only from slots your field service system returns.
→ Save the call for no reply and access problems
Reads from, writes to, runs on
No built-in connector; the agent uses your systems' own APIs
A workflow_run_id on each write lets your system ignore a repeat
Transfer to a person runs on Twilio only
Check these before the first customer calls
- Verify step firstThe agent asks for the last digits of the account number before naming any account detail.
- Call detail by callbackNobody speaks a password. Your system rings the number of record through the API Trigger.
- Limit set for outage daysTen concurrent calls by default, with no queue. Raise it and add a carrier overflow.
- Offers kept off service callsA bill reminder carries no offer, so its consent stays simpler than a sales call's.
- Tested on a real linePhone calls arrive as 8 kHz audio, while a browser test runs at 16 kHz.
Customer data stays on your network
Recordings on your servers
Self-host Dograh and recordings and transcripts stay with you. Call audio stays in-house only when the models run there too.
Your trunk, your numbers
Connect your own Asterisk when you self-host, or bring your SIP trunk to Dograh Cloud. Dograh does not sell numbers.
Billing hands off to support
Transfer to Agent moves a live call to another Dograh agent with the whole conversation, so nobody repeats themselves.
No per-minute platform fee
Self-host the BSD-2 code and pay for servers, model keys and phone minutes. Dograh Cloud has a 1¢-a-minute platform fee.
Every telecom call, one deep dive each
Does it connect to our billing system?+×
Yes, through the API your BSS already offers. There is no built-in billing connector; HTTP API tools read and write the account during the call.
How does the agent verify callers?+×
It asks for an approved check, such as the last digits of the account number, before naming any account detail. A calling number alone proves nothing.
Can the agent read call detail to a caller?+×
No. Call detail generally needs a password, and transcripts keep everything said. Your system calls back the telephone number of record instead.
Can it run on our own SIP trunk or Asterisk?+×
Yes. Dograh Managed SIP brings your trunk or PBX to Dograh Cloud, and self-hosted Dograh connects to your own Asterisk through ARI.
Does it work with VICIdial?+×
Yes, on self-hosted Dograh. VICIdial connects through Asterisk ARI as an advanced feature, which is not on by default.
What happens when an outage floods the line?+×
Dograh takes 10 concurrent calls by default. Past that, the next call is rejected at once, so raise the limit and add an overflow at your carrier.
Can it put a customer through to a person?+×
Yes, on Twilio numbers. Transfer Call passes no summary, so the agent writes the details to your system first.
Do upgrade calls need consent?+×
Generally yes. An offer generally makes the call telemarketing, which needs prior express written consent under the TCPA. This is not legal advice.
Put your outage line on a test number first.
