Your own SIP trunk, answered by an agent
Dograh is the self-hostable voice agent platform with an open-source workflow builder. Point the trunk you already pay for at an agent, keep your numbers and your carrier's rates, and add a second carrier later without rebuilding anything.
Trunk pointed, number added, call live
Aim the trunk at your SIP domain
Managed SIPa SIP domain set up for you
Pick the Global, India or UAE region nearest your carrier and point your numbers at its inbound hostname. No Cloudonix account is needed.
→ Choose the region closest to the carrier
Let the agent dial out
Outbound trunkthe route for calls the agent places
Allow Dograh's outbound IP address on your trunk, then add each number with a default caller ID.
→ On a Twilio trunk, keep Secure Trunking off
Give each number its agent
Inbound workflowwhich agent picks up a number
Set a number's inbound workflow and its calls reach that agent. Several trunks can feed the same agent.
→ Test from a mobile and a landline
Your carrier keeps the line, you pick the rest
Dograh sells no numbers and no minutes, so the carrier bill stays yours
One organization can hold several trunks at the same time
A transfer rings the destination first and connects the caller once someone answers
Check these on one test number
- Region matches the carrierThe Managed SIP region sits closest to where your carrier routes its calls.
- Outbound IP allowedYour trunk accepts Dograh's outbound IP address, so the agent can dial out.
- Real phone calls placedMost phone calls reach the agent as 8 kHz audio, so test from a handset as well as the browser.
- Transfer tried with no answerIf nobody picks up, the agent hears the transfer failed and the call carries on.
- Busiest hour sizedPlan about 100 kbps of bandwidth for each call running at your peak.
What keeping the carrier gives you
No port, no new numbers
The agent answers the lines your callers already use.
Your carrier's rates
Minutes and numbers stay on the invoice you already pay, at the rates you agreed.
Switch carriers, keep the agent
Prompts, call traces and QA stay put when the trunk changes. Only a phone setting moves.
A second trunk beside the first
Add another carrier for a new region or a better rate, and point both at the same agents.

Every part of choosing a trunk, explained
Can I keep the SIP trunk and numbers I already have?+×
Yes. Point the trunk at your organization's Managed SIP domain, allow Dograh's outbound IP and add each number. Nothing gets ported.
Do I need a Cloudonix account?+×
No. Every organization gets a Managed SIP domain called Dograh Cloudonix SIP, with nothing to pay on the Cloudonix side.
Can I use more than one carrier?+×
Yes. One organization can hold several trunks and provider accounts at once, and the same agent can answer calls from each.
Can the agent transfer callers to my staff over a trunk?+×
Yes. Transfer Call works on trunks through Managed SIP. It rings the destination first and connects the caller only once someone answers.
Is there a platform fee on top of my carrier?+×
Self-hosted Dograh has no per-minute platform fee, but servers, model keys and phone minutes still cost money. Dograh Cloud charges a 1¢-a-minute platform fee.
Why does the agent sound clearer in the browser?+×
A browser test call runs at 16 kHz, while most phone calls arrive at 8 kHz. Test on real phone calls before launch.
Point one test number at the agent first.
Self-host in one command, or start on Dograh Cloud.
