PT booking calls that never read clinical notes
Dograh is the self-hostable voice agent platform with an open-source workflow builder. Book and rebook plan-of-care visits and read visit counts from your own system, while every pain or exercise question goes to the therapist.
Verify, read your system, then book or hand over
Check identity before any detail
Pre-Call Data Fetchloads the record as the call connects
Every detail stays unspoken until a check passes, such as date of birth with the ZIP code on file.
→ Family callers hear only what clinic policy allows
Book inside the plan of care
HTTP API toolasks your system during the call
The agent offers only slots your system returns and flags staff when a booking would pass the visits approved.
→ A workflow_run_id Preset Parameter stops double bookings
Pain goes to the therapist
Transfer Callconnects only when someone answers
The agent writes what the patient said to your system, then transfers. If nobody answers in 30 seconds, it takes a callback request.
→ Test every handover on a real phone line
Where every answer comes from
The endpoint returns no clinical notes or diagnoses
No built-in EMR connector, so each tool points at your own API
Browser test calls cannot transfer
Check these before the first patient call
- Emergency line as fixed textPut the clinic's approved emergency line on a pathway's Transition Speech, so it plays word for word.
- Pain phrasings testedSay "my knee is killing me" in many ways and check each reaches the therapist pathway.
- Call limits held by your listCampaigns have no per-patient cap, so your own list keeps reminder calls within the limits.
- QA on every call at firstKeep the Sample Rate at 100% and flag any call where the agent commented on pain or guessed at coverage.
Fewer companies hear each patient call
Calls on the clinic's servers
Self-hosted, Dograh never receives the PHI, so the clinic needs no BAA with Dograh.
Open-weight models, fewer contracts
With Qwen3.8 27B, Parakeet TDT 0.6B v2 and Magpie TTS on your servers, no audio goes to AI vendors. The call still goes through your carrier.
No per-minute platform fee
Self-hosted Dograh charges none, though servers, model keys and phone minutes still cost.
Every call on the record
Each transcript shows whether the agent stayed off pain and exercises.

Every PT call, one guide each
Can the agent give exercise advice?+×
No. It never comments on pain or exercises. It records what the patient said and hands the call to the therapist.
How does the agent know how many visits are left?+×
It reads the count and the approval's end date from your system after verifying the patient. It never estimates a count.
Does it track Medicare's KX threshold?+×
It reads whether your system has flagged it. Medicare counts spending at every provider, so the agent never computes a total.
Do patients need a referral before booking?+×
The agent doesn't decide. It records whether the caller has a referral and from whom, then books the evaluation.
Can it book a whole plan of care?+×
Your booking endpoint takes the pattern in one request and returns the visits. Dograh has no recurring-booking feature of its own.
Does self-hosting remove the need for BAAs?+×
It removes Dograh. Model providers handling PHI may need their own, and the carrier may need one depending on what it stores.
Are visit reminder calls allowed under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act?+×
Care calls are generally covered by the consent given with the number. Any offer needs written consent. Confirm your clinic's position with counsel.
Start with reschedules, then add missed-visit calls.
